Short notice, but this coming Monday, June 14th, we’re hosting a listening party for the new Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers album MOJO. From 6 to 8 PM at Happy Dog Cleveland we’ll be playing the new album back to front and over again, so you can all check out this new bluesy / Allman Brothers influence for yourself. Plus, if you haven’t tried the Happy Dog’s extensive line of gourmet hot dogs and toppings you owe it to yourselves to check it out. Hope to see you there.
Also, here’s a big article I worked on: Top 100 Classic Rock Songs of All Time. I didn’t rank them, the listeners of AOL’s on-line radio stations did, but I wrote the comments.
Thanks for the great turnout for “Defendor”
I’m not any kind of sponsor, but if you don’t go see The Melvins show you’re kinda cheating yourself..

On Monday, April 12th, Sixty Seconds of Heaven will be screening Woody Harrelson’s new movie “DEFENDOR” in the Akron Public Library’s main auditorium. Harrelson stars as ARTHUR POPPINGTON, a regular man who adopts a superhero persona known as “DEFENDOR” and combs the city streets at night in search of his arch enemy CAPTAIN INDUSTRY. In his attempts to combat crime and bring down this drug and weapons dealer, whom he mistakenly blames for the death of his mother, Defendor ends up befriending a young prostitute. Armed with unconventional weapons like marbles and paper clips, and with his new friend by his side, Defendor proves that everyone is capable of making a difference as he puts his life on the line and foils the entire crime operation.
This will be the Ohio state premiere of this film, thanks to our new friends at Darius Films, admission is FREE!
